It's not your average regular opening card either, which makes it that much neater:
Cardstock: Close to Cocoa, Garden Green, Summer Sun, Whisper White
Ink: none
Etc: Punches - Scallop Circle, Scallop Edge, 1" Circle, 5-Petal Flower; Dimensionals; Paper Snips/Scissors; Sticky Strip; Paper Cutter & Scoring Blade; SNAIL Adhesive
To make the flower pot, take a piece of 3-½" x 9" Close to Cocoa cardstock and score at 2" and 5-½". Fold like a "Z". To add shape to the pot, take the two equal sides folded together; measure ½" in at the open side and cut to scored line. Do the same for both edges. Scallop edge the smaller side of the pot. Add Sticky Strip to adhere the sides of the pot.
To make the sunflowers, punch out 3 shapes using Summer Sun cardstock with your Scallop Circle punch. Use scissors/paper snips and cut small lines and each "dent" of the scallop - this will create the look of a sunflower. Punch a 1" circle from Close to Cocoa cardstock and adhere to the middle of the scallop circles. For the leaves, I used the 5-Petal Flower punch with Garden Green cardstock, separated each petal, and adhered them to the back of the flowers. I popped the whole flower up with Dimensionals.
The strip across the flower pot is Summer Sun cut at 3-½" x ½", and Garden Green cut at 3-½" x ¼". The note card measures 4-½" x 2-½" with the layer being ¼" shorter on both ends.
It's funny because although I felt like stamping, this card didn't need any!
